Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Engineering & Technology Program of Gayatri Vidya Parishad College for Degree and PG Courses(A) Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh State, India. As you find your way through our website I would like to inform you that department consists of faculty, staff and students committed to excellence and success. Department offers Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering and Two Senior Faculty of the Department are recognized as Research Guides by AU College of Engineering, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and are currently guiding two PhD Research Scholars each. All faculty members of the Department are highly dedicated and hardworking. Moreover, nearly 50% of the Faculty are Ph.D holders and total 100% faculty are M.Tech holders.

Since 2011, the department is consistently striving hard to offer a high quality, state-of-the-art education in computer science and engineering with well-established laboratories suits to the Industry needs. The department is accredited by NBA and NAAC for its quality education and the institute is ISO certified. We are especially proud of the long and sustained placement records of our Bachelor students in various multinational software companies and our students are pursuing their higher education at different top-class international universities.

Faculty members are encouraged to acquire higher degree and conduct investigation on research in the interest of the technical community. Faculty members are also supported to conduct workshops, symposium and conferences at national and international levels. They are motivated to adopt innovative teaching methodologies and best practices to make classroom a pursuit of learning.

During the course, students are able to mold their career, polish their technical skills and also inculcate team spirit with good oral and written communication. Students are supported technically to participate in competitions, hackathons at state, national and international level platforms.
