M.Sc(Computer Science) is a 2-year post graduate course in Computer Science discipline which is initiated in the year 1998. The first batch passed out in 2000. This course is designed for students who are interested to equip themselves in the computing industry. Students who pursued this course have an increased ability to think critically, rapidly and are efficient in problem solving capabilities.
The demand for individuals with post graduate-level degrees in computer science is increasing every day. The syllabus and curriculum of MSc(CS) program is designed in such a way that it is more beneficial to students for successful fulfilment of the requirements of the IT industry. Eligibility to join in this course is B.Sc. in computer science with minimum aggregate 50% marks with mathematics or related disciplines. A candidate who needs to join in this course should qualify the AUCET(Andhra University Common Entrance Test), which is conducted for admission to candidates in postgraduate courses offered under the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management, Teaching, and Mass Communication.
